Curriculum

Children start to learn languages before they even start to speak. Generally children over the age of five find it more easier sitting in a classroom environment and learning alongside their peers and also better manageable by teachers. Hence the earliest you can register your child/children for our classes is when they are five.

Kindly refer the next table which explains the class eligibility for your child/children by age. We are following the curriculum from International Tamil Acadamy, California

The curriculum for each class is carefully designed by taking key factors like the age of the students, their absorption capacity, hearing and attentive skills into careful consideration. As proclaimed to the whole world by the great poet Thiruvalluvar the A'garams (the tamil vowels) are the start for everything and so does the tamil journey with our school. Then the other letters, their correct pronounciations and how to properly write them through structured handwriting exercises. Syllabus for early classes also include songs and stories to make them enjoy their lessons and participate more.

At later stages, they will be introduced to the basics of the nuances of Tamil grammar and gradually detailed concepts of grammar helping them with essay writing etc.Regular monthly tests, project works and end of year exams are all in place to check and monitor the progress and timely proactive actions where required.
